Read this first. Slate Signal provides analytics and information. We do not guarantee any outcome, result, or profit. Daily fantasy sports involve real financial risk, and the majority of entrants lose money over time. Never wager money you can't afford to lose.
By accessing or using Slate Signal (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Slate Signal is an analytics and information tool for daily fantasy sports. We provide statistical projections, ownership estimates, leverage scores, and lineup optimization based on publicly available data and our own models.
Slate Signal is not:
Our projections and models are estimates. They are frequently wrong. We publish our historical accuracy, including our misses, so you can judge them yourself. Any decision you make using our information is your own decision, and you are solely responsible for it.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum age required for daily fantasy sports where you live if that is higher, to use the Service. Some jurisdictions restrict or prohibit daily fantasy contests entirely. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws where you are. Using Slate Signal doesn't make participation legal anywhere it otherwise isn't.
Free plan. Our free plan requires no payment method and does not expire.
Free trial. Paid plans may include a free 7 day trial. We collect a payment method at signup so your access continues without interruption. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the plan price automatically. We'll email you before that happens.
Automatic renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on your plan, at the price in effect at the time, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Payments. All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
Price changes. We may change prices. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change won't affect the period you've already paid for.
Cancel any time. You can cancel from your billing portal in one click. No email, no phone call, no retention gauntlet. Cancellation stops future charges.
Access after cancelling. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds. Subscription fees are generally nonrefundable, including for partial periods. That said: if you were charged by mistake, charged after cancelling, or the Service was materially broken during your billing period, email us and we'll make it right. We'd rather refund you than argue with you.
Trials. Cancel during the trial and you're charged nothing.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for one person. Don't share, resell, or sublicense your access. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
The Service, including our models, code, design, brand, and outputs, belongs to Slate Signal. Your subscription grants you a limited, personal, nontransferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own daily fantasy play. That licence ends when your subscription does.
Your data stays yours. Projections or files you upload remain your property. Where possible we process uploaded files entirely in your browser, and they're never transmitted to us.
Slate Signal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DraftKings, FanDuel, the NFL, any team, any player, or any sportsbook. Team names, player names, and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
We use outside data sources and infrastructure providers. Their data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and we don't control it. We're not liable for errors originating upstream, though we'll always tell you when we know about them.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
In plain English: our projections will sometimes be badly wrong. The data we depend on will sometimes be late or incorrect. The site will sometimes go down, possibly at the worst moment, like right before lock. We work hard to prevent all of that and we can't promise any of it.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SLATE SIGNAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, LOST CONTEST ENTRIES, LOST WINNINGS, OR GAMBLING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Specifically: we are not responsible for money you lose playing daily fantasy sports. That risk is entirely yours.
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms. If we make material changes we'll update the date above and notify subscribers by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
